29th Anniversary! (04/29/1995 - 04/29/2024)

We opened our doors on Saturday, April 29, 1995, and because of people like you, we are still here at the same location in Hamden so many years later. Retail has changed drastically since then with widespread online shopping and many big stores having closed down for good, but we are grateful to still be here to help everyone with all of their backyard birding needs and any other ways to enjoy nature all around us. The pandemic threw another wrench in the works 4 years ago but we found a way to keep things going with curbside pickup only for 3 solid months at the start of it and then continuing to adapt with supply chain issues or some products we stocked for years just no longer being available. But through it all you all supported us and we can never thank you guys enough.

Spring Is Here!

Goldfinch are turning bright yellow again, Bluebirds have begun nesting, Rose-breasted Grosbeaks started showing up at feeders and the Hummingbirds & Orioles should be here very soon as well!

Curbside Pickup

Wanted to remind everyone that are still offering "curbside pickup" for anyone that doesn't feel comfortable going inside any stores or just is running short on time. Just give us a call (203) 248-7068 with your order and we will bring it out to your car for you when you arrive.
